Kathleen Mayne is a national award-winning composer whose works have been performed from The White House to Australia. Her music is richly melodic, rhythmically exciting, and filled with dramatic imagery. From impressionistic suites to sprightly waltzes and ragtimes, Kathleen's delightful style pleases performers and audiences alike. In addition to composing for the concert hall, Kathleen has worked in the film music field, restoring and re-orchestrating scores from classic
motion pictures, and has composed and performed music for documentary films. One of her composition teachers, Academy Award-winning film composer Ernest Gold, said of her: “She may be the most gifted young
